Ravensthorpe Reservoir will be the first of our fisheries to open on Friday 24 February, followed by Pitsford Water on Saturday 25 February. Grafham Water opens on Friday 3 March and Rutland Water on Friday 10 March.

Open House at Pitsford Water 18 February – fishery opens 25 February
Come and meet Anglian Water’s fisheries team from 10am to 3pm. This is a great opportunity to meet with fishery staff. There’s also the chance to brush up on your casting skills with Peter Hartley our senior coach. As well as the usual rods Peter’s going to have a couple of salmon rods handy for anyone who wants to try double handed casting. Flash Attack Flies and Snowbee will be present. Free sausage baps and hot drinks will be served, copies of our new Hooked 2017 magazine will be available and season permits will be on sale.
Fisheries Manager Jon Marshall says “We are really looking forward to meeting anglers for a chat about the new season. One of the highlights will be the draw from last season’s ticket returns which will see one lucky angler winning a Gold Season ticket to fish the 2017 season for free!”

Ravensthorpe opens Friday 24 February
Plans for the new season are well under way. The overall rod average in opening week last year was 7.2 and expectations are high for some good sized fish.

Grafham Water opens Friday 3 March
Following an exciting and enthralling season in 2016 everyone at Grafham is looking forward to welcoming anglers back on 3 March.

Rutland Water opens Friday 10 March
2017 marks the 40th Anniversary of fishing at Rutland Water. Stocking will commence very early in March with Rainbows and Browns. Any overwintered fish showing at the start of the season should be in tremendous condition.

Anglian Water Airflo International
We are now taking entries for this great 6 man team competition – so don’t miss out. There are regional heats throughout the UK and the top teams come forward to fish the prestigious International final at Rutland Water in early October.
