Report:
Attendance was poor, not surprising as fished in a strong and cold E wind and sleet showers. Terry Sanderson (peg 3) had 4 carp (and lost another) on bomb and pellet in the first hour then remained bite-less for the rest of the match. His 30-00 hade him a clear winner.
Mark Betteridge caught two bream and two carp on bomb and bread, three fish coming late on for 14-06 and second from peg 11, Rob Mallabone (peg 9) taking third place with two carp on bomb and bread, the last one hooked seconds before the final whistle and landed 5 minutes after to edge John Adamson into fourth place by 8 ozs, his two carp from peg 7 coming to method feeder.
