This must have been the coldest day ever a strong easterly wind with snow and sleet all day, but there wasn’t any blanks. Lee Plackett was the top rod fishing bread on the bomb cast to the island at peg 36, he landed just two carp one in the first hour and for his patients one in the last hour for the only double figure weight of the day 10lb 6oz.
