        Our club has arranged a three day trip to the Decoy Lake complex…Beastie,Horseshoe and Elm lake..this coming thurs,fri and sat,has any body out there recently fished any of these three lakes,any or some advise on either of the lakes would be great..cheers

              A real struggle for most but I was happy. Not a place I would rush back too but would like a pleasure session there.
              May be see you @ Decoys.
              Advice for you.
              first two matches:- shallow on pellet.
              Elm:- Paste / meat close in.

                Thanks for the info,hoping to recharge my batteries at Decoys,and enjoy the few days away,and catch a shed full,hopefully !! maybe I’ll see you there,cheers.

                  Was down there a few weks ago for a week.

                  Beastie> Feeder and hair rigged corn and then meat and hemp down the side later on. The last 4 fish I had down the side went 54lb between them so gear up accordingly!

                  Elm> Meat and hemp down the edge of long pole and banded pellet shallow. Absolutely full of fish, take plenty of bait. I fed 6 tins of meat and 3 of hemp down the edge alone and only fished it for 3 hours.

                  Horseshoe> Pellet wag and again down the edge for last couple of hours.

                      Horseshoe is not fishing very well at the moment, 29lb won a match on there last weekend and 55lb won yesterday. The carp were cruising and not interested in feeding at all.
