Pools 1 and 3 have been fishing the best over the last 2 weeks with pool 1 the better pool. It has been fishing very hard with mid 50lb weights fraiming. However, when the pools are single banked it fishes very well with 80lb+ needed to fraim. Meat, corn or pellet have been the best baits. A lot of the anglers are catching by fishing the bomb at the moment and feeding very little. I have fraimed on the last 3 Sundays by using a small cage feeder and meat with hair rigged meat for bait. I am dropping this in very short as Sundays are double banked matches and even fishing down the bank with the feeder. The carp have been backing off the pole! Its almost like winter fishing at the moment.

My suggestion for you club is to peg the 2 pools on one side only and you will all catch plenty of fish. If it is double banked, most of you will struggle unless it starts to fish much better.

I fished our club match3wks ago was second with 45lb 12oz fised meat fed micros soaked with riddled meat in both margins hope it helps

Just got back from cudmore my mate won it he was on pool 3 he fished meat 1 inch over depth at 11 mtrs fed small bits of meat won with 60 lb all pools fished very hard dont put to much feed in there were plenty of blanks today.

Cat meat is banned! Get luncheon meat and use 6mm cubes.
