            Worm and caster across for chub and carp and a line at the bottom of the far shelf with either pellet or meat and hemp.

            The chub try and get into the far bank reeds so you’ll have to ship back sharpish. They aren’t massive fish but I usually use a tight grey hydro to 0.16 as the line can rub on the reeds when the chub go daft.

            If it fishes hard put a line in on the far bank down your peg and alternate between the one in front of you.
