I would give them a ring as them carp are back on the scene, lets hope its all OK now. Gearys is still silvers opens on a saturday. Weights are probably 40 – 50 pound, you want the high bank pegs 7 – 15 or 30’s

It seems to alternate; Saturdays are silvers only, Sundays carp are included.

They did run 2 seperate payouts, i.e. biggest carp weight, biggest silver weight. Seemed a very good idea. But not sure if its still the case.

There’s an open of a Wednesday, not sure if its carp/silvers though.

Attendences are anthing from 25-30 anglers on gearies, and upto 38ish on Molands.

I drink in the pub with all the open blokes, and my dad fishes most the opens. 60/70lb of skimmers from Gearies is a fair weight from high bank pegs 6-11.

If the wind blows in your favour, you can expect a good days fishing.
