Hi, hoping you could give me a few pointers.

Lets say you draw a peg on somewhere you’ve never fished, and have no sp on.What do you look for, and how does that effect how you fish.
I would probably feed a line at 10M, and fish either a straight lead or a feeder over the back for half hour before going over the feed.

My question is, how can I use the set up time to advantage, and what am I looking for that would raise my catch rate.lets say its a mixed fishery.

get the plummet out on the pole and have a good ‘feel’ around the peg all around you, including the margins! look for any changes in depth, slopes, bars and snags! put a lead on the feeder rod and feel for the same thing beyond pole range and look for any fish holding features
