      Stir Crazy

        In the winter I will be moving to the Wye valley a few miles south of Ross-on-Wye. I love my barbel, chub, roach and pike fishing but I have no idea where to start. (Please don’t say ‘the river’!) Can anyone help me with info re: syndicates, clubs, day-ticket stretches, free stretches? Any advice at all would be really appreciated. Thank you. Dave

          Hi mate come further down towards symonds yat and monmouth , monmouth have a free stretch in the town thats full of dace and chub and the odd pike . further up the river you could fish the biblins thats know for huge pike and big barbel , day ticket ross on wye angling , further up again to symonds yat you have the newport aa stretch loads of barbel , chub , pike , roach etc all easy accesible swims , great fishing .
