Buying new pole

  Need advise please. If you had a price limit of about 2 grand what pole would you buy and why?

  had a super legion for nearly 3 years and cant fault it you can get one for about 1200 -1300

  you would be best to handle the poles. so much out there thats good.garbo drennen daiwa etc.

  A G10 cos if Pete Bailey uses his all the time then it must be the best pole as he has bought all the others !

  but, as always it depends on you & what the poles feel like to you, I’m sure the longer this post stays here you’ll get more and more peoples personal opinions
  
  best advice get yourself to a pole alley & have a waggler of those in the price bracket, then abandon all them & buy the Drennan anyway!!!!!!

  If Pikey say’s the G10 then thats the jobby, I just hope it don’t end in tears lol No thoughts of waiting to have a look at the new diawa’s then Dave?

  nope Fred, I’m sure the Daiwa will be an outstanding pole, likewise the G10, but I’m very happy with the Zircon

  So you should be Dave quality product, there isn’t a world of difference between top of the range poles it just comes down to what suits you at the end of the day, I still think trubucco make damn good poles but then I biased

  nowt wrong with a bit of favouritism, we’ve all got it to some extent
  
  was looking in the AT a few weeks ago at the new middy shock core 16m pole, and it occurred to me no matter how good a pole they produced, it still probably wouldn’t get onto my “A” list
  
  might have something to do with their nasty multi-colour graphics
