Another wonderful week at Ringstead Grange after stocking took place earlier in the week. Banks have been fishing well on blobs, damsels and a varied selection of buzzers producing excellent catches.
Black and white buzzers with white cheeks taking larger fish from the boats from the deeps.
Mr Dawkes (Ringstead) had a limit bag of 14lbs 9 ones (Picture Attached).
Norman Sketchley (Leicester) is in the lead for The Ringstead Challenge shield for the best limit of 3 fish standing at 11lbs 4ozs.
Nick Wright (Northampton) a limit bag of 3 pounders
Neville Silver (Towcester) caught 5 at 3 pounds a piece
Len Day ( A local) has a beauty of 4lbs plus 4 at 3lb a piece
Boat partners Paul Shephard and Bob Broomshall (Bedford) both having a great day with full limits plus many anglers catching up to 25 a piece.
A big thank you to Mick Roche for catching a 10lb pike that had been injured and returned to the bank for our dedicated bailiff Pete to address and apply fish care treatment and return safely back to the lake.
