A frosty morning and a flat calm lake made it a little hard but a very close match, Nigel fished the pole and pellet and after a slow start he landed 25 carp – 8lb putting 82lb 7oz on the scales, not far behind Steve Shepherd fished the pole and paste short on the top 2 +2 for 18 carp – 9lb.

A very cold start to the match but Paul Turner made it look easy fishing the pole and maggot he had ide and skimmers one a bung catching fish – 1lb he finished a long way in front with 54lb 4oz.

Dave fished the pole and pellet out at 13m and down both margins landing 23 carp – 9lb for a total of 106lb 1oz, in 2nd place with the only other ton weight Mick fished the pole with banded pellet out on two lines at 13m landing 30 carp – 6lb for 104lb 5oz.
