        Any body fished this lake recently,I have got a club match there on sat 6th,I have seen some results in the midland angler,but these are from last month – any advice from recent matches would be helpful..thanks lads.

          Fished there about 3 weeks ago. Had the first 6 pegs on the entrance side (Trust me you don’t want to draw one of them!)And we had 20 pegs on the opposite side. I had 12 pound odd on the method mainly, off peg 5. Couldn’t get anything going on the pole line. 44lb won again on method to the lillies in the middle of the lake. Best bait was sweetcorn, but you had to bury it in method, couldn’t get a bite if left exposed? Hope that helps and have a good one.

            Fish can come very shallow and are big
