A very interesting week at Ringstead following our recent stocking banks have been fishing well early week but due to ever changing wind direction the fish have now spread out across the lake and taking a variety of buzzers and damsels, Addington road and willow bay producing some beautiful fish over three pound on buzzers and dawl backs, mill corner also producing fish on blue damsels and is proving very effective after weed cutting new channels in the area from Boats and Bank.

Biggest catches this week include a lovely 4.5lbs brown trout caught by Paul Shepard (photo attached) in mill corner on a red and black dawl back.
A lovely brace of 4lbs rainbows caught by Phil Cann (Wellingborough) on Addington road on a red cheek buzzer
        Gene Robinson (Raunds) 6 beauties
Jay Tomson (Corby) limit bag plus 4
Mr Astell (Cambridge) Pedro and Nigel Mould and Mr Carnegie all went home happy with good catches

Our kindest regards goes out to children and volunteers involved at the masonic fly fishing charity event on Thursday. A wonderful day spent with amazing people and seeing the children catch some lovely trout made it even more special
Stocking will take place on Wednesday with some wonderful 2lbs plus brownies plus our stocking of rainbows
A friendly bank match with Beer and BBQ is organised on the 7th May at 2pm until 5pm followed by the BBQ
