  Was due to have fished on a boat out of Littlehampton today but got a call from the organiser at 4.45 am to say that the skipper had called to say it was too windy.
  
  So in preparation for the winter I painted me shed.
  
  Not a breath all day near J5 of the M25.
  
  Was it windy on the coast?

  The highest recorded gust in the mouth of Chichester harbour was just shy of 20 knots northerly

  Yes probably a good decision.
  
  Very lumpy even with a Northerly.
  
  Would have had some of the crew shouting war cries over the side.

  I work in Brighton and it was filthy down there yesterday. A northerly wind will give a calmish sea for a mile or so from land, then it will get lumpy. Right decision I’m afraid.

  Total Lama’s
  Six anglers, probably Â£100’s worth of bait numerous moves. 2 sensible fish, small Roker and 4lb 2oz Bass both caught by our resident Morris man.
