Well done to my mate Dave Reeve, he was up against some stiff opposition, some of the other lads have been down there for 4/5 weeks fishing the big festivals, Dave and his traveling partner Alan Tuck arrived on Saturday……just as Steve Ringer and his Brother Phil were loading their van up to go home in the next caravan in fact!
Dave is a quiet unassuming character (much like myself) but can fish a bit , his results locally are very good, well done mate and see you at Barford for the W/L on Sunday.

Thanks lads for the nice words. I am very pleased with this result considering the top names in my section. I was winning my final section with 3 hours to go and thought i was going to win this festival. Then the wind seemed to push the fish away from my peg or it could have been a lot better for me. Still i cannot complain. A lot of the leading anglers crashed out on the final day which left the door open for others and i was happy to stay in 3rd place which i held from day 2. Well done to Dave and Steve on finishing 1st and 2nd in this festival and taking there opportunity when others messed up on the final day!
