            Sorry for the delay, my laptop had a serious problem and can’t still fix the thing. I think I need to go for a new one!

            Halfbeak! All tackle records empty in IGFA record list. Koof them anyway!

            About 50cm+ from beak to fork tail. I took a picture of one caught of the average size just to compare and the one below is about 33cm and is above average!

            Took a size 20 hook and caught the biggest on the last cast!

              It’s a blackbarred and a rep told me that its still an open record. I was catching them for bait, jigging and trolling trip next week.

                Not on here!

                The blackbarred is a winter halfbeak, being in summer it’s like catching a cod in summer in Hayling! The last one I caught was 3 month ago and they feed for about 3 weeks in full winter.

                Aka the winter balao on Mars. They have a deeper body than the quoys ballyhoo and most of them are below 200g.
