  Got a series of matches cumming up soon,done the rounds on the local club scene,is there anything i should know???,the does and donts.

  If it’s on the commercials: Make yourself aware of rules attributable to the venue; bait limits; bans; fish limits; floating baits; groundbait etc.
  
  Ask the organisor who is currently successful and chat to them before and after the match as you can learn loads doing that.

  Whatever you do don’t invent a radically new legal method that will blow the regulars away otherwise they will spit out their dummy, complain & moan like hell & then get it banned, because they can’t compete with it.

  I would also say that you should fish to your strengths and innovate rather than imitate: By that I mean that if you try to copy what others do then by the time you have got ‘up’ to their standard they will already be on something new!

  See what line everyone else is fishing, ball it in, then fish somewhere else in your swim, might not make many friends, but the looks you will get will be priceless….lol
