Not so many anglers ventured out last week with the very strong winds. This made fishing slightly harder but on the odd calmer day the fishing was excellent from both bank and boat.
On softer days there are numerous fish moving all over the lake taking hatching black buzzers.
On rougher days anglers are using lures to target the daphnia feeders in the top two foot.
On Sunday October 22nd eight members of Leicester Fly Fishers held their Presidents bank match.
A very breezy day saw 8 anglers take 23 fish.

3. Alastair Smith 6 fish 12lb 5oz
