        164 anglers caught 726 fish of which 552 were returned.

        Best Areas
        Bank – dam, brookside, boat bay, gravel bar, shallow bay

        Best Patterns
        Wet/dry daddy, black hopper, small black buzzer, red diawl bach, red apps, tequila blob, black/green lures.

        Better weather last week and plenty of anglers.
        A fantastic list of big fish were caught with numerous 5lb+ fish not getting a mention.
        Boat and bank anglers enjoying excellent sport although most of the bigger fish are coming from the bank.
        On the calmer days there are huge numbers of fish rising to small black emerging buzzers.
        Washing line on a floater has been the best method closely followed by dries in the right conditions.

        Now the clocks have changed the half day ticket is available:
        7am – 2pm
        12 – Close

        November 2nd

        Dave Hughes Memorial Fur & Feather
        Sunday November 12th 9am – 3pm
        £25 entry which includes fishing fees (£5 for season ticket holders)
        Boat or bank fishing. Open to everyone. 2 boats still available.
        6 fish limit with 2lb/hour time bonus.
        Proceeds from the raffle will be split between the Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation.

        Pike Fishing
        There will be a maximum of 6 boats per day put aside for pike anglers on the following weekends:
        November 18 & 19
        November 25 & 26
        December 2 & 3

        Payment will be required in advance.
        Single angler boat £25.00
        Two angler boat £40.00
        Fishing is 7.30am until 5.00pm
        Anglers may use lures or sea dead baits only.
