The mixed weather all week at Ringstead Grange, did not deter anglers from turning up for some
Excellent fishing for Trouting and Piking.

The largest Pike of the week went to Gareth Poyser from Nottingham, which weighed in at 29lb 6oz,
        Picture Attached.

His catch also included a brace of lower doubles.

Trout Fishing is still consistant with water at 4.7 degrees, and fish are mainly in the bottom 3ft of water, so intermediate or sinking lines are still recommended.

Brownies are still coming out with Bailiff Pete catching a superb 2lb 5oz on a orange snake, Picture attached.

Nigel Cheetham from Oundle caught a brace of 3 pounders.

Gene Robinson from Raunds caught 6 fish at nearly 3 lb a piece, and a single at 4lbs

Best areas for boats are the deep, the point, Willow Bay and Addington Road.
The best Flies are Orange Flies, Orange fab, Bloodworm, Green and Blacks, Orange Snake, best for bank area, the Point, The Deeps and Willow bay.

Best Flies Orange Fabs, Bloodworm, Green and Blacks and Orange Snake.

Just a Quick reminder, only 2 weeks left before we close fot the grand opening on the 16th February.
