brummie daveParticipantthese are mine- and they are GENUINE “over-ordering” mistakes on my part.
I decided to have a look in my float case, and came across one tube of floats, unopened (!) and some more sitting around looking sad and unused!
Have a look:

TF_sharkIf it is genuine then why Ebay?
You could advertise them on here and sell them at cost plus P+P. -

brummie daveParticipantWhy would I sell them at cost when there’s people out there who’ll give me more for them?
Come to think of it, there’s probably people on here who would! -

TF_sharkHave you read the home page on MW site?
Anyone buying then selling for profit will have their account deleted.~naughty -

brummie daveParticipantIve bought several lots of floats from Mick, and NEVER with the intention, let alone SOLE intention of re-selling them.
However, if my account were pulled, so be it. It’d be very sad, but that’s Mr Wilkinson’s perogative. It wouldn’t be the end of the world! -

TF_juzzyBrummie Dave i think as you put it on your email to me you want a PROFIT on these floats but then again that’s your job isn’t it??
Re: cookies
brummie dave Posted: Monday, January 14, 2008 7:25:46 PMPop a bid on for that amount, and if you’re very lucky, you might just win!!!!
(but somehow, I doubt it!!!)It was put on here about people buying them just for a PROFIT…….
i am not saying you did this, but from your response to my email it seems fishy you orderd to many last year but as you can tell from this message i won’t be putting a bid on ebay for you to make a profit and i wish that no one would due to the fact of when people buy them just to sell on for a PROFIT it then means the people who want that style eitheir have to pay stupid price or keep waiting to try and buy them on line.but as you have put down your Occupation: tackle and bait sales
i should have guess you was in it to make a PROFIT.cheers Juzzy

I think the point is Mick doesn’t sell his floats to people who intend to make a profit selling them on ebay, this he clearly states on his website.

TF_Team RattlerWhat if someone buys a cartload of floats and after a trial period decides he can’t get on with them or they don’t suit his style of fishing?
Is he then bound over by forum etiquette not to sell them for more than he paid for them?
If someone buys say 20 floats but in 5 batches of 4, a different model each time as they go up. He then has 5 lots of £5 postage to recoup as well.
So if this guy manages to get £65 for his 20 floats on ebay, is he seen as making a profit?
Or does he just sell them for £2 each and lose the £25 just so no-one gets on his back?
Just a thought!
