Ayup all from a newbie in every rainy Cheshire.
21 st April I’m heading to Cornwall for a week (with SWMBO and two rug rats in tow) I will be out with Wayne on the Mystique at least twice (All week if I had my way) and just wondered if anyone was local and what the recent (if any)catches had been like plus where is good for a bit of shore/harbour fishing, I am staying in the Camelford area.
I tried Boscastle harbour last year (pointing out to sea from the south breakwater) and just lost a lot of tackle ,presumedly on the remains of what was washed down in the flood.
So any tips and replies would be much appreciated
        Cheers and tight lines

Just got back. Monday last I got to go out on the “Mystique” from Newquay .Drifting (Just 4 of us ,same price. brill) over a gravel bottom 3/4 hour out, we hit into loads of Pollack all over 4 pounds on jelly worms.
Then we anchored up for the last couple of hours and fished with squid, I caught a brace of very nice 8lb Cod,a couple of very large Pout, small Ling and a few Doggies. Another bloke had a very nice Bull Huss on very light tackle, lovely scrap for him
Ended up with 14 Pollack in total, great 1/2 day out, great skipper £20, all in can’t be bad.

P.S. Took the cod to the restaurant where we were staying and had a very large Cod and Chips for my dinner (Totaly scrummy as my wife would say)
