Just picked up my Angling Times.The free Red i line seems to look & feel ok to me,or should i just use it for backing.Will Pikey’s progress be ever making a comeback.

I dont think i could bring myself to fish with red line.

i always use the free line as backing,i am never sure how long the line has been left out in sunlight,or storage conditions before going on magazine covers.

The only people I can see using coloured line are tackle tarts, then it would have to be blue.
