  I have a match this coming Sunday at Little John Lakes, can any 1 put me right, i have never been and no very little about the place?

  Yea fished Brinsley, came 5th with 9lb 14 from peg12.

  Happy i did my best from that end of the lake, set 4 lines in total, tried 2 lines at 6m, 1 pellet and corn, no joy! 1 line paste, no joy!
  
  Set a line to my right down the side no joy!
  The only line i had fish from was at 10m with mag & castors over a small ball of ground bait.
  
  Tried loose feeding and went up in the water, no joy. The fish where all on the deck.
  
  Pulled out of 1 nice carp which may have mored me up to 4th??

  Fished at Little John last Friday with my mate. Its a very open water so the cold wind really blasts across it. The carp were not showing as the temp was only 4 degrees.
  Fished with maggot at 12 metres in the deepest water around 2.0 metres neither of us had a bite in three hours. Young lad fishing a small bomb up to one of the islands had two carp around the 2.0 lb mark on corn. Nobody else caught
