The Carp-in-4-Cancer event is set to go from strength to strength in 2009 with the event organised at Field Aston reservoir, located in Newport, England.

Last year’s Carp-In-4-Cancer was held at Cemex’s Sandhurst Lake, where 25 teams of two used their angling skills to try and outwit the sometimes fickle carp.

Last year’s event turned out to be an even greater success than the year before, raising a total more than £5000.

With the funds raised came some good fishing also. Several different anglers netted eight different 30+lb fish over a 48-hour period.
