TF_PaddyBrian – I am keeping my eye on his thread. You need to keep in touch with me via pm matey.
In the morning i will contact Gareth directly – you may have already done that? and if that is the case fine. However, if not i will raise it with him.
If you have been scammed for your money, i will look to initiate a total ban by the seller from the site.
I hope it all sorts itself out, then not a problem.
Let me know, Pad. -

TF_JohnHDon’t be put off buying things on here, I have bought quite a lot of gear and am happy to say everyone I have dealt with has been fine.
You are correct though to warn of possible fraud, its part and parcel of the virtual world we live in, a few will try to exploit it.
Nice to see a happy outcome in this case, the reels you have bought are top class IMO. -

TF_PaddyCorrect John – We hardly ever have to get involved with anything to be honest.
Every now and again, sellers seem to forget that if they want to use this free platform to sell things, there is an obligation to deliver.
If they do not, it makes the site look naff and not to be trusted. -

TF_OldnBaldDon’t be put off buying on here or any other forum. I’ve bought and sold quite a bit of kit and never had a problem.
As for this transaction it seems to me that communication was the problem. The reels were advertised on 01 Dec and delivered 10 days later, (7 working days). That doesn’t seem to me to be a particularly bad service considering the time of year and the pressures on the postal service. The issue seemed to be around the buyers confidence that he was actually going to receive the reels, which could have been improved with a little feedback from the seller.
