Newish fisherman in dire need

  Iv not long been fishing and just managed to save enough to get me a new rod and reel for method feeding, anyhow just as luck would have it i got my rig cought on some underwater cabling feeding the airator and like a fool i tugged a litte to hard , you guessed it Snap middle section of my loverly new 3 peace Â£80 rod snapped. im gutted
  
  iv managed to scrimp Â£50 for another rod but im hoping somebody here who is local can offer me something of better quality but used/seconhand for a great deal , you will need to be local as i dont drive .

  While I can’t help you with a new rod, I can point you in one of two directions. For Â£50 you should easily be able to buy a new middle section for your new rod. All decent tackle firms will supply spare sections, just ask the tackle shop where you brought it.
  
  Also, given your location, you are close to two of the best shops in the country. Fisherman’s friend will be able to find you a rod within your budget, and I am sure fosters of birmingham will be able to do the same. Both, if you find the shop you brought the rod from unhelpful, try one of these two for a spare middle section.
