Im wanting to give it a serious go this winter on stillwaters (commercials) for Roach and Skimmers etc. I did try it about 2yrs ago at a local water stuffed with Roach where i had always caught well using casters and hemp (Roach upto 12oz) but on bread i could only catch very small roach!

I used Punch crumb rather than liquidised bread and included abit of hemp. Would i be better using Liqi?

Any advice welcome with regards to rigs, feeding etc after my last outing with punch i havent tried it since!

~think ~think What baffles me is if you can catch 12 oz Roach on hemp and shell why bother with bread punch.

Anyway for what it is worth here is my method for BP. Liquidise the bread as fine as it will go and put in a small cup at the start. Continue feeding pinches of liky on a regular basis. I prefer a fine wire wide gape size 22 hook fished about an inch off bottom, this can vary depending on where the fish want it, so fine adjustment may be needed. I also use a fine bristle on my float shotted well down so it will indicate lift bites. I start with a 3mm punch and if the bites are positive increase the size and this should get bigger fish.
