  The thaw has already started and by Wednesday most of the snow will be gone, back to normal. What will the health and safety gestapo direct their nonsence to then.

  lets hope hes right but looked at the long range forecast last night for Jan and temp does not go above 1C until 21st. Just to cheer everyone up

  +3deg c in manchester but trying to snow a bit,wasnt as cold last night but the forcast for the next 4 days is just above or just below freezing

  Ive just been on Met office site for weather report for Sheffield and by wednesday its really going to warm up,wednesday daytime high of 12 deg c nightime low of 2 deg c, similar temps for thursday. EL SCORCHIO……~clap

  Derek(dirkdiggler)….Feel for you mate,times are indeed hard for many business at the moment,and yours is one that is finding it really tough.
  Although they have the air of affluence,the racehorse fraternity is another that has been hit very hard.We know that the wealthy owners,trainers,and top jockeys will survive,but there are many who will struggle.I expect this bad cold weather to finish small trainers,and with it many jobs(stable staff etc)…..TAKE CARE…And i hope things pick up for you.

  You think you’ve got it bad? Some of my banking mates in the City reckon their bonuses might drop below Â£20k this year. They have had to start drinking regular Dom P rather than the vintage stuff. ~naughty
