Christchurch Angling Club will be holding their annual Salmon Open day at the Somerley Estate Salmon Hut, Ellingham, Hampshire, Sunday 7th Feb 2010.
A team of fully qualified and CRB checked coaches headed by Kevin Styles will demonstrate safe casting with double handed rods, heavy sinking lines and large tube flies. Kevin took the first Salmon from the Avon in 2009 and went on to catch three more. Kevin and his team will be sharing the tricks gained from a lifetime of successful salmon fishing on the Avon. This event is open to all. Non-members are more than welcome. Please bring £5.00 to cover the cost of hot food and drinks. We are not talking cordon blue here, hot dogs in buns only!
