        as seen in (APF,

on examination this looks almost or even exactly the same as the Daiwa barrow-platform rrp at £120
        (I actually,paid £109 from Fosters of Birmingham)
and if so(legs were silver on mine and simular sized but different looking wheel on the Daiwa), this is a real bargain at £59.99,imo!
        imo.
Word of warning though, although i liked the barrow i had to sell it as cound’nt get my box on it!
(A)PF have kindly put barrow diameter in at 38cm.
The Daiwa & presumably the Ultimate one, fits Daiwa ,Boss ‘Modulator & Ultimate boxes but not the larger ones -like Milo,Rive MX, etc.(sadly,
about an inch would have made all the difference nd the wide rim precludes this.
So check yours fits before you think of buying!

I subsequently have a Fox, which although marginally bigger to fit most seatboxes is heavier and i have to say preferred the Daiwa (-Ultimate) handling charisteristics and fold away leg slots underneath as well as much seemingly more firmly affixed handles when slotted in and tightened up(the fox one would benefit from a couple of inches more slot area on the handle slot cover, imo).

Check out the Ultimate mesh side try with wet weather canopy for £29.99 in the same Feb.(A)PF issue
        – seem more practical than bait brollies in windy wet weather.

Ultimate does some excellent bits of kit for a ‘budget’ brand and well worth having a look at,imo.

          Is it this one

          http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LIGHTWEIGHT-LARGE-BARROW-PLATFORM-TROLLEY-FOR-RIVE-BOX_W0QQitemZ270504529451QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportingGoods_FishingAcces_RL?hash=item3efb538e2b

It’s not on the ultimate web site but looks to be quite good

Also liked the look of their low loader barrow but only seen it on their web site

I like the look of the mesh side tray with the collapsable cover. I wonder if I could do something similar with my side tray?

certainly looks like one Dave, except that one has star type thumbscrews instead of the larger mushroom ones on the Diawa, a minor issue given the price.
I really liked mine and would have kept it if it had kept the box on properly- even so i still used it for around 6 mounths with a couple of bungees.
Trouble or good thing about these barrows is they make great bait tables!
              altho’ just a tad
too big to fit on the platforms at Rolf’s Jon.
Really hope to be back up there soonish with iow lads.
Do you still hold lake speci record with that 24lb er, if i recall you had 3 other fish over or just under 20lb that day you wiped us out.
big respect to you and JB.
Having got fed up with blown off lids, placcy bags, etc.
and wet pellets, maggots and methodmix turned into sloppy paste,
and wind if facing on bait brollies, reckon canopies really practical idea
