I read in last night’s Birmngham Evening Mail about the death of Janice Aske, the wife of Ken.

Anybody who has been a member of the junior section of the Starlets will know what a stirling job she did in all weathers helping to run club outings, and taking bus loads of youngsters to Ireland, Denmark, Holand and all around the UK to take part in junior events.

I would like to pass on my condolences to Ken and his family at this sad time, and hope that her memory lives on.

Thats really sad news. I was only talking about Ken and Janice last week. As its been about 14 years ago since i was part of the juniors!!

If anyone knows about times about the funeral, will they let me know?

Does anyone know if they are accepting flowers? or if it is a private funeral?
