Although the number of manufacturers is limited, I understand that each company has its own mandarels and specification (carbon/resin etc) so although two or more companies may have their poles produced at the same factory, they are all to their own manufacturers spec.

Thats how I understand it in any case.

So its possible that their could be a number of poles the same.

our poles (frenzee) are made in italy and are vastly different to anything else on the market.

Bodge whats the balance like on your poles?
Only ask cos the weights seem high at over 1000g at 13m, but good balance could make that less important

spot on mate to be fair, im really happy with it. its got an extra carbon weave from the no4 down and this is where the extra bit of weight comes from. the weave itself gives it an awesome ship finish, its different, but my god it works. the butt sections have also had attention as there is a 2 foot extra wrap again for the elbow sectionand for ‘sitting on’. all this makes the pole really well balanced because the weight is in the right places. ive had pole rollers go over onto it countless times and as yet havent managed to even mark it.

                      Cheers mate.
balance is more important than just using the weight to judge a pole.
Sounds like it has been thought out well for the UK market.
