      TF_MICK THE BOOKIE

~sick ~sick ~sick Some of you that know me,and try very hard to keep up with my angling prowess, will no doubt know that for the last 2 years i have been using a “classic” conveyance to transport my tackle to and from the various venues that i fish.
It is with great sadness that i have to inform you that you will never see her again. She was a true friend, and apart from a replaced steering pump, cost me nought in repairs. This year was her 26th birthday, and she had travelled only 58,000 miles in that time. There are many stories she could have told of our trips together, some of which are far to riska for this forum.
Many of you hurt her badly with your cruel remarks about her age and fading looks, but she never once complained. There were indeed times when so called mates laughed out loud at her arrival at some matches. But she remained loyal to the last, even when famous anglers tried to turn her against me.One such angler, who posts on here, even try to buy her and take her away, but she stood firm and told him where to put his tackle.
And so with great regret she has gone to pastures green. In fact she has gone to Zimbabwe to spend her last years as a Taxi, carrying people from the airport to their Hotel destinations, bars and red light districts. This will i hope keep her happy and remind her of similar journeys she had with her previous owner.
        GOOD BYE MY FRIEND…I MISS YOU ALREADY. ~sick ~sick ~sick ~sick
