        Hi fellas

        Am on the lookout for good quality alloy between .8mm and 1.5mm diameter, hollow or solid for stick floats. Have found some in a model shop but my tester Lewis Murawski has found them a little too flexible.

        I’ve seen the Preston and Maver sticks and the stems are tough so will take a bit of punishment. This is ideally the alloy rod I would like to get my hands on if possible.

        Can anyone help?

          go to your local welding supplies shop he should be able to help you out with an ali filler rod of the correct grade.
