  whats wrong with the people on this site ,yet another angler having a go at a pro, i.e the post what should i feed
  why not do this read it and if you dont agree keep it to yourself and just post something possitive not negative,because the site is for us all to learn including myself and its fast gonna loose all sorts of creditable anglers,
  i just like reading about fishing in the papers magazines weather i agree or disagree with articles
  you can always read the bible if the magazines are not good enough for you

  ive read the post and i disagree with what you say
  forums are for open discussion, i dont see anyone slagging steve off, only questioning why he feeds soft pellets and the size of pellets, if i dont know WHY i ask! its the only way i learn, if i dont ask then how long would it take me to find out on my own??

  I have to say chosser I do agree with Smed. I don’t think anyone is having a go at anyone on that thread, just exchanging views and experiences, which is what forums are all about. If we all thought the same thing or were afraid to talk about what we had found ourselves, forums would be pretty dull places. I’m sure Steve isn’t offended at all… Steve would be the first to admit that you never stop learning in this game which is why he’s still experimenting even after so many years at the top…

  It is an outstanding thread. What is your problem with it? Steve Ringer is an angler with his head screwed on correctly and will debate freely with anglers who may not be a name but might fish at a similar level and have a wealth of experience.
  
  Why the hysteria that you must kiss the stars backsides for them. In any walk of life, at any level do you think every named angler is a wonderful person? Do you even think many names think all the other names are wonderful?

  I think its a good thing when the thoughts and ideas of the top anglers are challenged on forums like this. It can create some great discussions where everybody can learn. However, there should be a level of respect in the way that questions are asked or ideas challenged so that the top anglers are not offended. It also has to be said that some anglers do get offended to easily and do become defensive or even abusive in the way they respond.
  
  I agree with you, NWCA. You get good and bad attitudes in all walks of life. That includes some of the top match anglers.

  It is a good thread! although when Chosser posted it had started off very negative and i could see the point he was making!
  Fair play to Steve for his reply!
  I don,t think anyone is kissing the stars backsides but if everyone was as negative nobody would use the forum!!
