Some of us Scousers are very happy with our manager. Many are also enjoying what is going on across Stanley Park. Its so funny. I believe Liverpool have spent over £40 million in transfare fees!

I think you will find that the blue half of the city are more than happy with the managers at both clubs and the way that Everton and Liverpool are playing. In the case of Everton. Yes, there has been real progression without spending £40 million or the club owing £330+ million to the bank.

In all honesty. I would have settled for a mid table position in the league this season because of our long term injuries and lack of £40 million to spend on new players. However, Everton,s injured players are on there way back. The team are now playing great football again and i am expecting a much better second half of the season. 4th place is still possible for Everton. However, a top 6 place is a more realistic finish and maybe a cup. If that happens. Moyes will be manager of the season yet again!

Everton currently P 21 Pts 26 = bottom half

70 pts ish is usually the benchmark for 4th so that means Everton will get 44 pts ish from their remaining 17 games then ??

Arsenal are top of the prem with 48pts from 22 games played !! Cant see it happening somehow ~naughty ~shh

Dodge, i dont think you will need anything like 70 point for 4th place this season. There are 5 or 6 teams plus the top 3 who are chopping each other up.

Arsenal where 11 points behind Chelsea 9 games ago. Arsenal are now above Chelsea. Everton have been the only side to take anything out of Arsenal in that run of 9 games. So, things can change very quickly this season. Everton where the better team in that game against Arsenal and where very close to the win. Everton then took your team apart and City where very lucky to get away with only a 2-0 defeat. Think it shows that Everton are a much improved team. Do you really think Everton are going to lose form with so many key players returning from injury? I can only see Everton getting better as competition for places increases. So, yes i am expecting a very big improvement in the number of points in the second half of the season.

I think Birmingham will drop out of the race along with Fulham for the European places in the second part of the season. That leaves Man City, Tottenham, Villa, Liverpool and Everton fighting for 4th and the other European places. Im not sure all those above Everton will fall apart but some will. Thats why i think a top 6 finish is more lkely but 4th is defo still possible for Everton.
