ahdoo fella’s
when the weather warms up. im gunna be taking a trip down memory lane to a place i used to love fishing when i was a nipper!
its called the drakeholes canal in bawtry and the stretch i am talking about is one between the white swan pub and a chequred painted humpback bridge?????
does anyone know of it?
way back when,,, it was full of quality chub, skimmers,,roach, and the odd eel too?
im gunna be using it more as a chill out session as its one of the most tranquil fishing spots ive ever seen ,being in the middle of the countryside,, but ive heard there are similar stretches near by which hold quality fish too which i wouldn’t mind getting amongst!
does anyone know of these parts and can you give me clear directions from the white swan pub to the spots you know of?
also any advice on noted pegs and baits,
cheers fella’s!
