Hi skimmer,my dad and i went there for about 3 yrs or so on holiday. The fishing isn’t to easy but can be fantastic on the snake lake down the edge and across on the pole. The main lake is very productive in the evening/early morning/after a match. don’t ignore the margins there be beasts, I had some great results using meat dyed black soaked in active 8 and dusted in sensas black mussel and octopus (this works everywhere even if meat is a blown bait)…..the dusting bent the rules but i don’t fish matches so what the hay. If you get a skimmer you may be in for a shock they all seem to have some trout in them !… set your elastic soft.As for the accommodation it’s clean and comfortable but if you want a good sleep get a chalet as the bedroom in the main building was above the bar.(you will have to prove that you’re a saint to get one and pass the black list test). The on sight tackle shop is well stocked and not overpriced on fresh bait.On the subject of bait…the human kind the food was simply English done well and lots of it for me but then i would blow away in a strong breeze. As for why i haven’t been back it’s because i couldn’t get my deposit money back when my dad died the week we were due to pay the full amount. A staving tiger has more compassion than the money grabbing etc on the other end of that call~naughty I hope you find this useful as they say you pay you’re money and you take you’re choice. They won’t get mine again. Take a look at holgans farm (Ian heaps place)not as big but well run.(youtube it)
