Does it matter? That’s the least important thing to me, preparing my bait and rigs is what matters. most of the time I forget to eat anything anyway as I’m trying too hard to catch!!!!!!!

I take those Tesco currant bun things , with Flora and a thin slice of cheddar cheese.
Quick and easy to eat with one hand and filling.
Like the Ox tail soup as well.
                  BUT NOT bloody marmite UGH.

                    LOVELY!!

It depends where I am fishing, down south its beluga caviar, lobster and foie gras sandwiches made with brioche, washed down with a vintage dom perignon. Whilst up north its a lard, pie and black pudding on T’Hovis washed down with a pint of gravy.

Mabee thats where i’m going wrong then, many a time ive been catching really well shallow, then stopped for a picnic in a nearby field and on returning to my peg and getting changed out of my tux and back into fishing atire all the fish have buggered off into a dedicated thin non eating neighbours peg.

He does! when it’s picnic time i like to lie down very straight and still while my buttler continually pours scotch in my mouth while he’s reading me storys out of match fishing.
