After a 6 week lay off, we are at last going fishing the weekend. Our main water is still frozen over with about 3″ of ice on the inside and there is one massive hole appeared right in the middle. We could go ice breaking that water, but we have another match sized lake out in the sticks which has completely defrosted, so with the rivers raging, the smaller water has won the day.
I was talking to one of the lads who got a day in on Tuesday and he had 17 carp up to 6lb with a bag of silvers to boot, mainly on 6mm pellet! I think I`ll cover the basis and take some mags and pinkies just in case, owing that it ios only a pleasure day.
After such a long lay off, i’m gonna have to go to the boozer just to calm down and get some kip! I’ll be that excited! Anyway, i cannot wait to get there.
