float making

  i am thinking of attempting to make a few floats for myself. can get hold of all neccessary materials, just not sure what sort of paint and varnish to use. can anyone advise?

  Try e bay and put in float making materials..
  
  You will find what you are looking for here material wise not paint
  
  If anybody can give me directions on lathes it would be appreciate

  i have the Co baby lathe as i’ve a space limitation ,in my work shed in the loft.it does all i need it too .

  about the same as a sowing machine and 20X quieter than my old drill ,now that was noisy ,i can still hear the radio
