        i’ve been to climax tackle today looking at margin poles.
        i think i’ve set myself on a beastmaster 850b.

        the thing which i was more than a bit put out by was
        i put a yank an bank 10.6 metre pole ( one of which i’ve just sold )
        at the side of the shimano to find it was literally about 18ins longer!
        now a few inches fair enough but i make that at least a metre shorter than the stated length.
        result i no longer trust daiwa to provide a pole at the right length and will be buying the shimano 850b instead of waiting for the new yank an bank instead.
        I HATE BEING LIED TOO!!

        i dread to think what my tourney pro measures i’m frightened to try it.

          dirk good choice you wont be dissapointed with the beast.i rate mine very highly.

            If you are fishimg with match kits minus the no.1 then you have lost 800mm.

              we are talking a metre and a half short here.
              in fact my mate who was with me who still has a yank and bank is thinking about taking daiwa to court about it.

              imagine if you went to a car showroom and bought a brand new car and it turned out it had no engine i’m quite sure you’d have something to say about it.

              it’s about time someone took tackle manufacturors to task on this one i for one am sick of being ripped off.
