UK Champs 2010 To Hit The TV Screens???

  Match fishing was dealt a vote of confidence today as a new and exciting calendar was announced for the UK Angling Championships.
  
  The event, which started in 1984, is one of the longest running events in the country and one look at the roll of honour shows how seriously it is taken by the match angling fraternity. With the likes of Clegg, Nudd, Piecha and Pickering reigning in the 80s, the Scothorne and Raison era through the 90s, and the noughties seeing a whole host of hot shot new talent picking up the honours, 2010 looks to be the most exciting year yet.
  
  With over Â£20,000 of hard cash up for grabs across the series itâ€™s a pretty wealthy event too. The 4 round nationally recognised tournament in now under the control of Barston boss Nigel Harrhy who ran the event for the first time last year as a â€œtaster yearâ€

  sounds excellent,
  would certainly be interested in having a punt and hopefully some proper fishing(apart from Fisho) on TV.

  Its took me all of January to get it up and running.
  
  A handfull of freinds had seen the website a few weeks ago before the venues were confimrmed, and i told them that, and 2 of them have booked there holidays around the proposed dates which have been altered and now confimred, sorry about that lads.
  
  The dates and venues are:
  
  Colemans Cottage 19th May
  Lindholme 23rd June
  Larford 14th July
  Barston 11th August.
  
  The first 80 letters have gone out, if its not full by the 1st March, it will go first come first served.
