        Need a new brolley.

Needs to be a minimum of 50″ and with a proper tilt mechanism .. none of that ball nonsense.

Needs to be durable enough to withstand windswept lochs. Last one I had was a prototype for ABU and was fantastic, and I only paid a tenner for it!! … It finally gave up the ghost after 10 years of severe abuse.

Whats the best one out there ?

I would say the preston umbrellas are the best, infact that’s one thing on my long list of gear to get!

I’ve had the Waterline fibrelite for about 18 months, never had a problem with it.

Waterline Fibrelite 2 mate – the one with the golf hole style panels in it, spot on.
When someone told me that it had got holes in it, I seriously thought that they were joking!

I’m still using a preston flat back brolly (when I can be bothered to take it lol)

it’s heavy but then every brolly I have ever owned is ~think
