TF_Cutnutanyone gone down this route? I have so many daiwa tops it doesn’t make sense to change to another make but I am considering upgrading to the x or airity in the pole only option, but no one is advertising the price.
Anybody had a quote?

TF_punchcrumbI WOULD have thought the pole only version of the x should be discounted to at least £1800 for a cash deal so aim for that as a starting point and haggle.

Harrisons tackle will give you a quote on the pole only.

TF_Spuds1Is it not worth buying the pole and selling off the top kits at £50 a lump ?

I must admit i am thinking of going down a similar route by buying a 13 meter model and selling at least one top four kit and two of the spare no5s to off set the cost.
I already have 14m and 16m butt sections from my g8 if on the rare occasion i need more than 13meters.
i would be hoping this would realise between £400 and £500.
Or try and find a 13meter tourney pro the old model at a favourable price! anyone know where i might get one? i know the old 16m pro was advertised for £1800 so a 13 meter should come in at a good price now its been superseeded. -

loljust as a matter of interest what would be the going rate for the following.
1x unused no 5 section from a tournament pro x
1x unused no4 section from as above
1xunused match top three kit as aboveI was thinking £150 for the no5,£80 for no 4 and £70 for the top kit.
or spuds prices£100 no5 £60 no 4 and £50 top kit
£90 difference~think

I would say Spuds prices are more realistic

tournament_pronot being awkward but I would say somewhere in the middle of those 2.
Generic match kits are around £45-£50 brand new so an unused TPro one is worth more
