        Hi all,

        I haven’t much experience with hollow elastics or commercials. I’ve just done up one top kit from a new pole I bought for line to hand on rivers and it’ll also double up for commercials when i’m fishing them.

        I’ve done a quick tutorial on my blog so i’m after advice on wether my way of elasticating the top 2’s will work or wether the elastic is too short etc…

        There’s only a few commercials over here and definitely no double figure carp will come into contact with this elastic setup.

          1.5m of elastic and the rest made up with dacron is fine on some commercials. I like the website. Where is the footage of you bagging poe to hand.

            I’ll assume by the 150 views and only 1 reply that there is nothing wrong with the shorter length of elastic. Looking forward to getting it tested out at the end of the month!

              Dead right David, you can’t beat good advice. I elasticate my poles exactly like this & use a Preston winder bung. I attach the dacron at the bung end of the elastic in the same way as a dacron connector.
