      TF_MICK THE BOOKIE

~sick ~sick ~sick I have just broken a promise to myself, that i will never ever bet on or against my beloved Arsenal.
As i stated before the “big game” against Man U,i really believed that my babies will go into freefall if they lost the game to the “Reds”….They did…And tonight, after our shocking display with Chelsea,i have backed Arsenal at 200/1 for a £100,that they will finish 8th or below in the premiership, with an old bookmaker friend of mine.
I stand to win £20,000 if i am right, but in truth i hope i am completely wrong.Arsenal are in a terrible position atm,and i can see the team breaking up at the end of the season.Fabregas will no doubt go to Barca, and any other good player will leave the sinking ship.
Next season, when Wenger also leaves, the squad will disintergrate, and Arsenal as we know them will be finshed……RIP……Goodbye and God bless to all who sailed under his wing…..MTB IN TEARS.

          Mick
As much as it hurts to say it,being a Spurs fan(Sshhhhh)the Gooners will still finish top 4 !
Liverpool will get 4th,Man City 5th ,with Villa & Spurs fighting it out for 6th.As for the top two Chelski then Man U.
And what do i know about football ? Naff all played Rugby all my sporting days.( My boy’s bloody good though, stuffed Luton today & he got three, not bad since he’s played at right back all season !)

I think Arsenal are only really short on a striker. Why didn’t they buy one in the transfer window? Torres would make you champions!

Mick, What have the powers that be at Arsenal done with the £35 million plus they made when they sold Adebayor and Toure ? It would of made sense to buy another quality striker and keeper surely ? …. or are they pulling the wool over the supporters eyes ~think ~think

Massive mistake imo Wenger not fielding his best eleven in the FA cup at Stoke mate.

MTB,I am Arsenal through and through,it breaks my heart to see whats happend over the last couple of weeks,But this januarys transfer window must of been the worst one on record for major signings.Wenger is know fool, wait until the summer because fab will stay, some will go no doubt,Wenger has”nt spent the last 13 years with us for it to blow up in his face.Don”t give up mate

Many thanks for your replies lads, you have cheered me up a tad.The one thing that has given me some hope for the future is the rumour that Wenger will be given a position of power amongst the “hierachy” at the heart of the club, perhaps even on the “Board of Directors”.
However, something is niggling inside my gut that all is not well within the corridors of the Emirates. Some of the football decisions that have been made lately have been ludicrous to say the least…eg…Senderos(yes not too clever)..but Sol Campbell instead?….Come on…Please?~naughty ~naughty ~naughty ~naughty ~naughty
