After heavy rain on the day before once again the canal was carrying excessive colour which going on previous matches made anglers a little wary of what to expect. In previous rounds when met with these conditions the only species seeming to show were the elusive Bream and Skimmers. One angler plundering this species was Preston/Maver Barnsley superstar Lee Kerry catching 5 bream to 3lb for 11lb8oz, he not only netted the £184 winning purse he also topped it off with another £295 by winning from the Golden Peg!
